The pattern is always the same: a high-demand medicine launches, legitimate supply ramps up gradually, and fake "early stock" floods social media and dodgy websites to fill the gap. It happened with Ozempic in 2023 (the MHRA seized hundreds of fake pens, some containing insulin), and the Wegovy pill. MHRA-approved on 11 June 2026. Is the obvious next target.
